Film Noir

The picture was taken around the 1950s because that when the poster came out and the poster kind of looks like in the 50s.
The message of this picture is trying to tell what was it like to live in the 50s with all of the violence.I would of add more light in the picture and if they should more of the object in the poster (http://www.doctormacro.com/Movie%20Star%20Pages/Film%20Noir%20Posters/Film%20Noir%20Posters2.htm)

The picture was also probably done around the 1950s
•The message of the picture is about crime and love probably a man trying to recuse a woman from danger

      •
The things I would have done differently would be if the man and woman were together kissing or holding each other or if the picture had more darkness.  (http://flavorwire.com/329524/fantastic-posters-for-film-noir-classics)

This picture was also taken around the 1950s because most of the film Noir is taken around these times.
•The message of this poster is  the poster or film is mostly about the crime and violence.
•The only thing I would do differently is the were more violence in the poster or people pointing guns at each other putting more action (http://forums.tcm.com/index.php?/topic/48452-greatest-film-noirgangster-movie-posters/)

This picture would have possible be been around the 1950s.
•The message of this picture around a man fighting for his love and involving crime.
•The thing I would of looked to do different is if the man would have seen rescuing hiss love while fighting them people. Adding more colour in the picture by adding a red head or putting more apture in this picture (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/479703797785341210/)

The picture was also been around the 1940s and 1950s which is mostly dominated by film noir
•The message is about this poster is mostly about crime and meeting as women along the way
•The things I would of like to do differently is they added more colour in this picture and remove the red around the man.

The picture is done around the 1940s and 1950s because it is a film noir was came out around those times.
•The message from this poster is a woman probable being frightened from some else and is being trapped by telling from the spider web behind her.
•The things I would of done differently is if the added more colour and apture also is they put a different background.

The film noir poster would have also been done the around the 1940s and 1950s.
•The message is about the man whose probably involved in crime fighting and the woman has a part to play.
•The things I would of  done differently would I been adding more colours to the man and adding a different rule of third.

This picture was also been around the 1940s and 1950s because theses times film noir was very popular.
•The message for this picture is a man meeting a woman while his living the life of crime and the showing that around those time the 1940 and 1950s was about crime and violence
•The things I would like to do more differently is adding more colours and effects such as more smoke coming out and putting a white balance and rule of thirds   (http://caramialouise.weebly.com/blog/film-posters)

Evaluation

the project that i done was film noir, film noir is all about crime and violence in the 1950s. the clothing that was done is men wearing suits and women wearing dress and cleaning clothes because around them times women was just staying at home and cleaning. in the final shot that i done the shot that inspired me to do it was a poster called sin conciencia which gave me the idea to do my game cover. the lightings that i used in my final shot was the ISO was 100 because the shot was taken outside however it was meant to be 800 or 1000 because it brightens the picture. the idea of the final four shots were one of them be a assassin creed pose and the other three be a film noir pose and the were meant to be taken at college and home. the location of the assassin creed pose was taken in the college while the sin conciencia pose was taken outside in the park near the arts college the other three where taken in college in different college buildings. the things that i have taken to account is the location was in the college and park, the person who i used to as the model was Reece and Gus in the shoot i took ten test shot and 4 final shots, the equipment that i took was a camera which was called lumix. next i made a contact sheet which i done after i did the 10 test shots i also add the camera settings to detail the camera shots. the techniques that i used for my final shot was levels and curves so i can brighten the pictures and if i wanted to make the picture black and white i can just go to image adjustment then black and white, also the picture had a background so to remove to background you can just go to the magic wand tool and right click and select the quick selection tool and select the background but don't click the person then press delete or backspace. the first picture was the assassin creed picture and it was taken inside the college the ISO that i used was 100 because it was taken inside so i can give it a good brightness i also add the rule of third and white balance. the second picture was sin conciencia the shot was taken outside and the ISO was 100 however it was meant to be 800 or 100 because of the brightness of the shot as it was taken outside. the third shot was taken in the college as the model was posing as the picture of James bond movie skyfall, the settings of the picture was with the white balance and rule of third will the ISO being 100. the final picture was the pose of film noir game L.A Noire and the picture was also taken in college near the international building , the camera settings of this picture was iso 100 with the rule of third. next the game cover the a done i used photoshop to make it i did the game cover template to do that we had to go to file then new next you put (133mm x 190mm) to a standard case size, then i add the brands such as 18 rating logo, PS4 logo and the information about the game etc. the things that i would of liked to do different is change the ISO of the picture in the most of them and doing one of the picture at home. the things that i learned from this assessment was next time i should check the camera settings. in my opinion i think that the final images and game cover does meet the assessment brief because a have done every ting which is the final photoshoot which means you have to final photoshoot, include test shots and contact sheets. Annotate/detail the camera settings used and what considerations you made.

Test shoots and final Photoshoot

in this lesson we had to take pictures of are final Photoshop with Gus as the model. The things that i had to do before i took the shots was booking the camera and when you booked the camera you had to use the camera settings to make the shots what you are gonna do later a bit more detail. Next what you do is you have to do is test shots then after the that you produce your final photographs, the amount of shots you had to take was 10 for portrait and 10 for landscape 20 in total. After that you take the pictures you save it on the USB and go to Photoshop and make a contact sheet. After that you open another Photoshop and edit your final photo shoot by editing the photo suing all the techniques you have learnt.

Proposal

For the picture the ideas I took from this picture is having the gun and hat and taking the background and editing it on Photoshop by having more effects such as having blood in the background to make it more scary and making it a bit crime in this shot because film noir was mostly dominated in crime and genre is about violence. For the hat and gun I will have someone pose in the picture for me and I will take the shot. The reason why I am having the hat and gun is because poster is mostly dominated by violence and it adds more crime in the photo.

In the assassin’s creed picture I would like to use the background because it is different from other backgrounds, it has ghost in the background and it has Blue Square to make the game cover more interesting. Also the things I would like to use is the assassin creed hoodie because it looks good and the picture would look interesting because if I took the picture in the flog it would look very good. The lighting settings I would like to use in the shot is having the red light and taking with the shot because they are going to be a shadow and I would be good because I would go to Photoshop and edit the shadows so I can make ghost I wanted to.

The L.A NOIRE video game the ideas I took from this picture is the hat, gun and suit because the shot that I am doing is about film noir and the genre and film noir is about violence and crime, I also think the person that will be in the shot will look cool and will blend in the film noir era. The sh
ot that I’m going the use it wide shot because most of the picture that are done is a wide shot and close up, also the camera setting that I’m going to use is lets in more light to the camera shutter for an exposure. For the lighting settings I’m going to do is direct light creates strong, well-defined shadows, while the shadows created by more diffuse lighting are much softer.

The ideas I took from the James bond poster is the font because in the shot I’m going to do I could add text like gangster or crime. Also the other ideas I took from the poster is the suit and gun because I could get my model to wear one not a real one just a tuxedo shirt will posing with the gun. Also after I have taken the shot I could go to Photoshop and add an interesting background. For the camera settings the photo shot the I will do is a side light because Moving the light to one side of the subject produces a far more interesting light, and apture because the aperture size will regulate the film's or image sensor's degree of exposure to light.

Generic And Non-Generic

In this lesson we had to work in groups and putt the small piece of paper in order which were generic and non-generic, the people who i worked with were Sam and Jake. In this task we managed to get 3 wrong which was OK but at the end we were shown the answer when Faye shouted them out.

Screening:- This Gun Is For HIVE Critical Viewing

Genre-Action and Crime
The colour of the film is black and white because of the 1900s the film were in black and white.
In the film the used non-diegetic sound because their was music played in the background and the sound effects which is added for the dramatic effect and made when a interesting scene comes.
Most of the costumes in the film was male actors wearing suits with tie and women wearing dresses. most of the objects used in this film was mostly guns and letters because most parts of the film was mostly talking about business.
The ideas i would probably take from this film is the violence and the objects used in this film like and suit, hat or gun (a fake gun).
The things that i would use that i never thought i would use is using the different lighting colour from normal colour to black and white.

Film Noir Ideas

The things i would like to recreate in this poster to my very own is having the same background and coping the gun and suit maybe adding the hat, also the things i would recreate is maybe adding font to picture to make it more interesting.

in this picture the images i would like to recreate is the hat and gun because it is the reason behind the project film noir and it suits the style of picture that and doing 1950s gangsters.

the things i would like to recreate in this images to my image is the red background and having the hat and gun with me and having some one poses and be in the picture for me and next to edit the picture i would go on Photoshop and edit the background with adding the colour red and adding more effects for example adding blood.
the images the i am going to recreate in this poster is the background of the blue and people behind him, also the adding the blades and wearing the hood. i would possibly do this around night time because most of the film noir is done around them time .
